IMOU N118 18 Channel Wired NVR – 4K Recorder for IMOU PoE and IP Cameras

The IMOU N118 (NVR-N118-8A0E) is an 18-channel wired network video recorder. It connects to your router or PoE switch with one LAN cable and records up to 18 IP cameras on a single hard disk. It suits homes, shops, offices, schools, warehouses and factories that want one recorder for the whole camera system.

H.265 compression keeps recordings small, so the same hard disk stores more days. The HDMI port shows live view and playback in up to 4K, and a VGA port is there for older monitors. A built-in microphone and speaker let you talk through two-way-audio cameras directly from the recorder, with no extra audio equipment.

IMOU cameras on the same network are found and added automatically, and other brands connect through ONVIF. With the Imou Life app you can watch live video, play back recordings and get motion, person and vehicle alerts on your mobile from anywhere.

N118 (Wired) or N118W (Wi-Fi) – which one do you need?

Both recorders support 18 cameras. The difference is how the cameras connect:

• N118 (this model) – wired only. Best for PoE and LAN cameras connected through a switch or router. It has no Wi-Fi antennas.
• N118W – has four antennas and dual-band Wi-Fi 6, so IMOU Wi-Fi cameras can connect to the recorder without cables.

Please note: the N118 has no PoE ports. For PoE cameras, use a PoE switch such as the IMOU SF106P (4 port) or the IMOU SF110P (8 port). The hard disk is not included.
